Last seen: 1346 days agoI am a west Texas girl that loves Texas and Red Dirt country music. Started early in Lubbock, TX listening to Pat Green and Jack Ingram before they recorded their first albums. Stood on the bar in Abilene when Pat Green came to town with his "Live for Billy Bob's" album and went to the Green Frog and watch Ragweed after the door man tried to make them wait outside-- Cody in his overalls had to tell him "they WERE the band!" While teaching in Dallas- I spent every moment of free time at Adair's and drinking "little" Joel under the table, and watching THESE GREAT musicians play for what little they collected from the door! I have meet them all, and have stories that I will tell for years to come. I still giggle every time I have an opportunity to speak to the great Stoney Larue, ran on a horse track to meet Charlie Robinson, and recently watch Robert Earl Keen play an awesome show after the Ranger's game. I now live in Austin-- slowly growing old with the love of my life, Bridger Buller. I am not as wild as I once was, but still make it to Hill's Café anytime one of these bands play.
