Music makes the world go around, or at least that is how I feel. I have always loved music. I can remember listening to Merle Haggard & Johnny Cash with my Dad when I was about 5 years old and I knew there was something cool about it.
When I got into Junior High I started listening to Hank Jr. and that lead to Waylon who took me to Willie. By the time I got to High School I was looking for something new, and I found Steve Earle, and he is still opening musical doors for me. Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, John Prine & Ray Wylie Hubbard just to name a few.
I got my first guitar March 23, 2001, I had written my first song two weeks before sitting at a roadside park on my lunch break. I was hooked from the get-go and haven't put it down since.
I was born in December '75 in Paris Texas. My Dad is a factory man and always has been, he is also one of my Hero's. My Mother is the warmest soul I have ever seen, and together they taught me more about life than they will ever know. I've been blessed with many good friends that have brought me years of memories, some good and some bad, mostly good. I married the rock of my soul in October '02 and she loves my music and I love her.
