Longneck Road was formed in early 2008, in Beaumont, Texas. The band includes singer/songwriter Dick LeMasters, drummer Robert Arena, lead guitarist Miles Sykes, and bass player Ron Arceneaux. Longneck Road's music is its own version of Texas Country, which the band calls Texas Rock. Longneck Road released its first album, titled, in fact, "Texas Rock, in October, 2009. We are proud to be included as an artist on Radio Free Texas. Songwriting influences include Steve Earle, ZZ Top, Joe Ely, Ray Wiley Hubbard, and James McMurtry.
