Hailing from Lewisville, TX, their music has been described as Country, Alt-Country, Country-Rock and Americana - all depending on who you are asking. The group released their debut album "Big Texas Sky" in March of 2009 featuring their first single - Dance All Night - which was well accepted by radio across the Lone Star state and achieved impressive chart status. In November of 2009 they hit the studio again to record their latest project - an EP titled “Home”. This short collection of songs features three brand new original songs including the new single “Married Thing”, as well as a powerful rendition of the classic “Willin” which was written and originally recorded by Lowell George and Little Feat. The Kat Moore Band is currently taking the new music on the road playing casinos, clubs and festivals across Texas and the surrounding states.
